Section 20
Transplantation of organs without consent
Notwithstanding anything written in section 19, organs may be transplanted without the consent of the family member of the person receiving the organ in the following cases:-
(a) If the recipient is destitute,
(b) If it is not possible to obtain the consent of the next of kin of the recipient in due time,
(c) If there is a possibility that such a person may die if the organs are not transplanted immediately in the circumstances as per clauses (a) and (b).
